The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers into the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it can be alarmed with regard to the large amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due here to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The support stage created for intervention activities a higher inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to enable the servicing of all shoppers and raise entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
